William David Wollschlager

William David Wollschlager, also known as Willie, passed away on September 26, 2023, at the age of 65 in Fitchburg, Wisconsin. Born on May 1, 1958, in Madison, Wisconsin, Willie was the beloved husband of Rebecca Wollschlager and the loving son of Alice Wollschlager. He will be deeply missed by his son, Dustin (Paige) Wollschlager; his grandsons, Harlan and Waylon Wollschlager; and Dustin's mom, Danene Pache. He will also be fondly remembered by his stepchildren: Amanda Miller, Katelyn Walker, and Megan Sage. Willie is also survived by his sister, Pat (Don) Lynam, and his brother Scott Wollschlager. He was preceded in death by his father, Arnold Wollschlager, and his brother, Martin Wollschlager.

Willie proudly served in the Navy from 1976 to 1980 and continued his dedication to the military as a Navy reservist for two years. After his military service, he embarked on a successful career at Research Products, where he worked for many years.

Outside of his professional life, Willie enjoyed various hobbies, including golf, hunting, fishing, and playing horseshoes. These activities brought him joy and allowed him to create lasting memories with his loved ones.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on October 21, 2023, from 12pm to 4pm at the American Legion located at 131 West Washington St. in Poynette, Wisconsin. Family and friends are invited to come together to honor Willie's life and share cherished memories.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Agrace Hospice in memory of Willie.
