Wayne Alan Przybylski

Wayne Przybylski, 74, formerly of Custer, WI, died on Saturday, July 27, 2024, after a seven year battle with Dementia. He was the eldest child of the late Jerome and Gertrude (Kubowski) Przybylski born in Stevens Point, WI. 

He attended elementary school at St. Stanislaus Catholic School and then entered Divine Heart Seminary in Donaldson, IN, finishing high school there. He completed one year of college. Wayne then joined the US Army and was trained as an aircraft mechanic. He was deployed to Vietnam and was honorably discharged in 1971. Upon return home, Wayne secured employment at the US Post Office where he worked as a clerk/carrier. He retired in 2005 after a 36 year career.

Wayne and his wife, Carol (Schmeling), were married 47+ years and they have two sons, Luke (Michelle) and Noah (Julie) Przybylski, and 3 grandchildren: Eli, Olivia, and Bruce. They built their dream home on 40 acres of wooded land in Custer where Wayne spent many hours making trails, hunting, logging, and puttering. He and Carol loved spending time together enjoying their land and the wildlife they shared it with. They both loved traveling and living their best life with their family. 

Wayne is further survived by his brother, Lawrence Przybylski of Stevens Point; his 4 sisters: Irene (Jim) Lewis, Mosinee; Dorothy (Mark) Steuerwald, Waupaca; Valerie (Ken) Passon, and Marian (Roy) Contreras of Stevens Point, WI. He is also survived by his brother-in-law, Wayne (Linda) Schmeling, Juneau, WI; sister-in-law, Gloria Schmeling, St. Cloud, WI; and Aunts Alice Przybylski, Stevens Point, WI, and Marie Kubowski, Racine, WI.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Danny; special uncle, Edward Przybylski; and nieces, Laura Geisendorfer and Amanda Lewis.

A Celebration of Life will take place on Sunday, October 6th, 2024, with the Visitation with the family taking place at 11AM, the reading of the obituary and Eulogy at 12PM, and a buffet luncheon at 12:30PM. The events will be held at the Sky Supper Club, located at 2202 Post Rd, Plover, WI 54467.
