Timothy Fuller Gold, 77, crossed his last finish line on August 31, 2025, with his family by his side. Tim was a lifelong learner and avid marathon runner who enjoyed travelling, especially road trips. He cherished the mountains of Colorado and the hills of Northwest Arkansas. Tim loved to read, watch both baseball and college basketball, “stir the pot,” listen to music, and sometimes just stay home. He will be remembered for his hilarious (and often inappropriate) sense of humor, his tender heart, and being the life of the party. Tim worked for 32 years at Movin’ Shoes, where he was affectionately known as “Buddy.” He adored his work and his colleagues. Tim is survived by his wife of 50 years, Susan, his daughters, Elizabeth McSorley (Brandon), Alison Escobar (Andrés), his son, Tim Gold (Liz), and his brother, Tom (Sandy). He was fiercely proud of his grandchildren, Jack, Emma, Ryan, Andrew, Tomás and Lucas. He will be forever loved and missed by his family and so many friends. The family would like to thank Meredith Winkelhake, APNP and Dr. Monica Patel, of UW Carbone Cancer Center, as well as Agrace hospice nurse Isaac, for making the unbearable a little more bearable.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider honoring Tim through a donation to OperationFreshStart.org
A celebration of life will be held at a later date
