Thomas F. Holden

 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Thomas F. Holden, 97 of Deforest, WI on February 18, 2026.

 Tom was born in Chicago on October 12, 1928, the son of Frederick & Ethel Holden. While attending Hyde Park High School he met the love of his life, Carol J. Waldo. On May 21,1949 they were married & together they raised 2 daughters, Susan and Linda.

 In 1968 Tom moved the family to Madison where he began his career at WPS as a computer programmer.

Tom enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing, boating & his annual trip to Wyoming with his hunting buddies. Most of all he loved spending time with his family. Family gatherings were always the highlight of his day.

 Tom is survived by his daughters Susan (Victor Schlising) Ashley, Linda (Keith) Anderson; his granddaughters Cheryl (Nick) Boldon, Dawn Protz, Elizabeth (Shane) Caso, Amy Lease, Rachael (Brian) Pemble, Christina (Kody) Bennett; great grandchildren Kayla Coy, Thomas Ashley, Chelsie Protz, Kylie Krohn, Nathan Caso, Emily Shebelski, Callie Caso, Caiden Shebelski, Leighann Pemble, Evelyn Pemble, Clifton Pemble, Trystan Bennett, Kaylee Bennett; great great grandchildren Tucker & Miya Mackovich.

 Tom was preceded in death by his loving wife, Carol & his parent’s Frederick & Ethel.
 Per Tom’s wishes there will not be a funeral service held. A memorial service will be determined by the family at a later date.
