Susan Larkin of Baraboo born Nov 1, 1946 in Lone Rock died of FTD on July 5 2026 at Maplewood of Sauk City under the wonderful care of their staff and Agrace Hospice. Her primary career was at UW- LaCrosse as a student-teacher liaison. After she retired, she took the position of the Administrator of the Free Congregation of Sauk County- A UU affiliate at historic Park Hall in Sauk City, Wi. She was also a talented artist with a Fine Arts degree from UW-LaCrosse. Her hobbies included genealogy and she traced her family tree back to the American Colonial period. She is survived by her husband of ten years John Rigby, Brother Bill Marks & wife Sara of Waunakee, Wi, Son Ben Marks of Baraboo and grandchildren Lucas, Max, & Maya; son Christopher James of Statesville, NC and grandchildren Mayson & Carson; also Grandaughter Miranda Marks of San Diego. She is preceded in death by parents Don Marks and Arlene Brown, sisters Wendy and Tonia (Baney). She had many close nieces and nephews, special cousins, close friends, the supportive family of her late husband Greg Larkin, her special lifetime friend Susan Phanenstiel of Door County, Wi, and members of the Free Congregation. A memorial service will be held at Park Hall sometime in the near future.
