Shirley Mae Webb

Born to Eternal Life on December 3, 2022 at the age of 93. Shirley is survived by her two loving daughters, Barbara Webb and Karen Webb with granddog Charlie; sister, Diane (nee Drenski) Olson; granddaughters, Trudy (Dan) Malone, Shyla (Joshua) Kennedy, Celeste (Benjamin) Perez, Nikole Webb, and Jennifer Webb; and 8 great-grandchildren.

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents Violet (nee Meyer) and Al Drenski. Also preceded in death by her sons, Chuck and Bill, and her brothers Eugene Recker and Dale Drenski.

Shirley was an independent woman with a zest for life. She never shied away from an opportunity, a challenge, or an adventure. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, whether playing cards, cross-country skiing, or boating. She never missed a birthday party, family reunion, or other special event.

Shirley lived with Alzheimer’s dementia for over ten years. During that time, she never lost her wonderful sense of humor, her dignity, or her love for chocolate shakes! Despite the memory loss, she continued to play cards (and could spot a cheat), enjoy movies, and take short trips to Culver’s and to family events. Her zest for life will live on in all those whose lives she touched.
