Sandra Marie Sorenson

Sandra Marie Sorenson passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 21,2021 at the age of 79. Sandy is survived by her loving children, Rebecca (Jim) Collar, Andrew (Christine) Sorenson and amazing grandchildren; Christopher (Jordan) Sorenson, Nicholas Collar, Charles Collar and Megan Sorenson. She is also survived by her siblings, Tony (Rosie) Winter, Kenny Winter and Joanne Kruse. Also survived by brothers-in-law, sisters-in-laws, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many dear friends. Sandy was preceded in death by her loving husband of over 50 years Dale Sorenson; her parents, Anton and Theresa Winter; her son and daughter-in-law, Daniel and Petra Sorenson. Sandy will be greatly missed by many and will be remembered for her fun spirit and love for her family. She always lit up the room and always had a fun story or tale to tell. Many knew her through the many sporting and music events she always attended for her grandchildren. “The Crazy Cow-Bell Lady” comes to mind as one of her many loving nicknames. Sandy was always happiest spending time with her kids, grandkids and even her grand dogs! There will be a “Celebration of Life” Service at a later date. Memorials to the Alzheimer's Association or Agrace Foundation appreciated. Sandy’s family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff at Drumlin Reserve and the Agrace staff for their wonderful and compassionate care.
