Roberta Louise Bernhardt

Sun Prairie, WI -- Roberta “Bobbi” (Linke) Bernhardt was born on March 30, 1945, and passed away peacefully in her home on October 19, 2022, at the age 77. She was a loving mother, wife, grandmother, sister, and friend to everyone.

Bobbi is survived by her sons, Todd (Ronda) Bernhardt and Michael (Heidi) Bernhardt; sister, Barbara Linke; honorary sister, Debra Sciano; and 6 grandchildren (Lillian, Owen, Blake, Megan, Easton & Elliott). She was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Allen Bernhardt, and both of her parents, Art and Lucille Linke.

Milwaukee, WI, is where Bobbi was born and raised surrounded by a large extended family. She graduated from Messmer High School in 1963.  Bobbi then graduated from Mount Mary College and had a long career as an Occupational Therapist. Bobbi married Allen Bernhardt on July 25, 1975. Together they moved to northern Wisconsin where they raised their family residing in Rhinelander and then Marinette. The sunshine and active lifestyle was calling so they packed up and made the move to Florida to enjoy life during the golden years. In 2018 they returned to Wisconsin to be closer to family.

Bobbi loved to chat, she was always ready to have a lengthy conversation or share a story. She enjoyed getting out to explore new places like the botanical gardens, parks, local breweries, and casinos. It was common to find Bobbi working on a puzzle or playing a game to keep her mind sharp. She also enjoyed baking cookies for her grandchildren, long walks, and tending to her plants & birds. While raising her boys, Bobbi became a sports fan, as she loved watching them play a variety of sports. Her love for baseball continued and she continued rooting for the Brewers. In recent years, she never missed a game on television and enjoyed taking in a Brewer game in person with Barb & Deb.
