Richard (Rich) Wayne Klein Jr

Richard (Rich) Wayne Klein, Jr was sadly found dead in his Stoughton, WI apartment during a welfare check on Oct 2nd, 2025 at the too-young-age of 51. Rich was born at St. Joseph's Hospital in Milwaukee on July 23rd, 1974 @ 4:52pm to Patricia Eileen Dyke and Richard (Dick) Wayne Klein, Sr, both of whom preceded him in death.

Rich grew-up in the village of Germantown, WI, developing his passion for computers at an early age. This hobby - writing small programs with his Dad, playing Kings Quest above his family’s restaurant, lugging around heavy equipment for the LAN parties he organized - evolved into a career as a skilled coder.

Rich also enjoyed playing disc golf, curating playlists, perfecting his simple-yet-extremely-delicious pork chop recipe, and watching Tarantino flicks.

Rich is survived by his brother Ryan and two sons, Josh and Xander. They will always wish that they had more time with him, but remember fondly the summers they spent together where they shared a passion for board games, bad jokes, and bocce ball.

Please join us on Friday, November 28, 2025 for an informal memorial gathering at the indoor pavilion in Milwaukee’s Cannon Park (303 N 95th St) from 2:30-5:30 for coffee and cookies, table games, and some of Rich’s favorite tunes while we reminisce about the time shared with him.
