Peter's journey as an Electrical Engineer began in the early 1980s while working for Wordplex Corporation in London. It was during this time that he played a pivotal role in the development of a personal computer, showcasing his expertise and innovative mindset. Peter's dedication to his work led him to open Wordplex's first office in California, and his invaluable contributions earned him several patents throughout his career.

In 1987, Peter became a proud U.S. citizen and eventually relocated to Michigan. Embracing new opportunities, he ventured into the automotive industry and found employment with Ford and Visteon. Peter's involvement in numerous successful product launches showcased his unwavering commitment to excellence in his profession.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Peter was known for his love of learning and diverse interests. He is also survived by his son Denham (Kris) of Oceanside, CA; stepdaughter Sara Cooley Broschart (Steve) of North Bend, WA; stepson Eric Cooley (Katie) of Hartefeld, PA; sisters Frances Good (Roger) of Billingshurst, United Kingdom, and Dr. Nicola Cherry (Jack) of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.

In addition to his cherished family, Peter leaves behind a legacy in the form of his grandchildren: Harper Cooley (11), Brooks (7), Dean (3), and Ann (1). Their presence brought immense joy into his life, and their memories together will forever be cherished by those who survive him.
