Peter Arneson

Peter Benjamin Arneson, 47, of Madison, WI passed away April 2, 2025, at home due to COPD. He was born February 13, 1978, to Paul and Catherine Anne (Salter) Arneson in Edina, MN.

Peter attended Immaculate Heart of Mary Elementary School in Minnetonka, MN and graduated from Southpark Academy High School in Charlotte, NC on June 6, 1996. He attended Ashville-Buncombe Community College in North Carolina and later lived in Brewster, NY before moving to Madison, WI in 2003.

He was an avid golfer and snowboarder. He also enjoyed cooking and was known for inviting friends to join him for dinner multiple days each week.

Peter is survived by his father, Paul and brother Nicholas of Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. He is also survived by three aunts, Clare (Harry) Ditter, Jane Gaffney, Susan Gordon and two uncles, Bob Salter, and John (Tracy) Salter and numerous cousins.

Private Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 20 at Open Circle Unitarian Universalist Fellowship in Fond du Lac, WI followed by burial services at Saint Mary's Cemetery in Eden, WI.
