Patricia Pelky

In fond memory of our dearest Patricia Pelky, 77, went to her eternal peace on August 8, 2025, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Madison. Pat was born on April 6, 1947 to William and Lenore Anderson and had a wonderful childhood with her family in Winnetka, IL.

She graduated from Stout State U in 1970 majoring in Home Economics, where she met and married her husband Ron Pelky. Pat taught Home Economics in Milwaukee School System for 8 years before moving to the Helenville area. She worked at St. Coletta’s for many years and often spoke fondly of the clients.

Cooking was her passion. She also enjoyed feeding the birds and taking care of her flowers. She also loved all the animals throughout the years. She enjoyed music from the Grateful Dead to Mozart.

She was an avid reader and loved the Dwight Foster Library in Fort Atkinson. She leaves a hole in our heart that cannot be filled.

Pat was preceded by her brother Gordon Anderson and her good friend Margaret Lawton Bell. Pat is survived by her husband Ron and children Sarah Pelky and Laura Pelky and her brother Chuck Anderson (April Moon).

There will be a celebration of life for family and friends at a later date. In lieu of flowers, a donation to Dwight Foster Library in Fort Atkinson or the Jefferson County Humane Society could be made.
