Nancy Carol Catlin

Catlin, Nancy C. passed away on Thursday, July 18, 2019 with family, friends, and beloved cat, YumYum, at her side. She was born on April 20, 1939 in Columbus, Wisconsin, the only daughter of Francis and Clara James of Doylestown, Wisconsin. She is survived by her sons: Bruce (Vickie) Braaksma; Thomas Braaksma; Daniel Braaksma and daughter, DeAnna Braaksma, her brother Charles (Nancy) James. Also survived by a special niece - Rhonda, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-laws, nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and many dear camping friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, John C. Catlin. Nancy worked as a Medical Records Technician at Divine Savior Hospital for over 30 years. She was a bar tender at Trails Lounge, Blankenhaus and Bud’s Pizza in Portage, WI. She enjoyed throwing horseshoes and doing crossword puzzles. Besides, her late husband John, Nancy loved to camp with her girlfriends and family at many local campgrounds. A Celebration of Life is scheduled Saturday, August 10, 2019 at Wyona Park (Columbia County), Hwy G, Wyocena, WI from 11AM-3PM. Lunch and refreshments will be provided. Memorials to the Columbia County Humane Society appreciated. Nancy’s family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff at Agrace Hospice for their support and guidance.
