With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Mary Lynn Schreiner, who passed away peacefully on June 24, 2026.

Mary was born on July 26, 1958, in Wisconsin Rapids, WI, to Harvey and Mary Pongratz. She was known by those who loved her as a soft, sweet, and kind woman. Her gentle heart and caring nature touched the lives of many.

Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort in knowing Mary is finally at peace, free from the pain and health struggles she endured for so long. Although life was not always easy, she faced its many challenges with quiet strength and resilience.

Nothing meant more to Mary than her family. She cherished her daughters, Gari Lynn Jessick and Samantha Schreiner, and treasured every moment she spent with them. Her grandchildren were the light of her life. She found so much joy in watching them grow, celebrating their milestones, and surrounding them with unconditional love.

Mary is survived by her daughters, Gari Lynn Jessick and Samantha Schreiner; her longtime companion, Ken Jessick; her beloved grandchildren, Lidia Jessick, Mason Kleinsmith, Cooper Kleinsmith, Vinny Kleinsmith, and Nova Kleinsmith; her sisters, Jo Pongratz, Judy Mancl, Barb Pongratz-Meador, and her fur baby, Benson, along with extended family members and dear friends who will cherish her memory.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harvey and Mary Pongratz. Her husband, Gary Schreiner.

In accordance with Mary’s wishes, she will be celebrated with a private family service.

Mary’s gentle spirit, unwavering love for her family, and the kindness she showed to others will never be forgotten. She will be deeply missed and forever.
