Mary A. Dollard

Madison/Baraboo – Mary Ann Dollard, age 79, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 19,2025, at SSM Hospice House in Baraboo. Mary was born on April 22, 1946 in Madison, the daughter of Frederick and Mary McConnell. She was a lifelong resident of Madison prior to her move to Oxford then to Baraboo. She married Vernen Dollard, Jr. on November 11, 1988.

Mary had many hobbies and was very talented with crochet, knitting, needlepoint and making beaded jewelry. We could all count on a handmade gift, made with love from her. She was never one to sit for long and could be found traveling Wisconsin, visiting friends and family and if there were pets, Mary would have treats with her for them. She will be greatly missed.

Survivors include her two daughters, Kristeene (James) Saaf and Heidi Bahler, three grandchildren, Tanya, Brandon and Rheanna, as well as 5 siblings, Jane Johnson, Phillip (Eileen) McConnell, Terry (Theresa) McConnell, Cheryl (Robert) Armstrong and Debra Olson, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and four of her brothers, Raymond, Richard, James and Thomas McConnell.

A celebration of life, with all her family and friends, sharing positive memories, stories, and the joy she brought to the world will be held at a later date.
