Mark was welcomed into heaven on Friday, April 26, just four days shy of his 66th birthday. Mark had a beautiful, generous spirit and lived his life firmly believing that everything is “in God‘s hands”.
Mark loved the great outdoors and was an avid hunter, fisherman, and golfer, but some of his greatest joys were times spent with his grandchildren.
Mark bravely fought against a rare, aggressive cancer known as T-cell prolymphocytic leukemia (T-PLL) for four years, facing all challenges with this disease head-on.
A big thank-you to all the doctors, nurses, and staff at Mercyhealth Hospital – Janesville and UW Health University Hospital – Madison, who were with Mark throughout his journey.
Mark was preceded in death by his partner of twenty-two years, Jane. He is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Kathy and Eric Dickerson. He is also survived by Jane’s sons, Dave Clark, Jr. (Danelle), Mike (Jessica) Clark, and grandchildren Lance (fiancée Ali), Kerstin, Alison, MaKayla, Morgan, and Mason.
A visitation will be held at noon, prior to a memorial service at 1:00 on Wednesday, June 5th at Christus Evangelical Lutheran Church, N6108 Delaney Rd, Delavan, WI 53115 (at County Hwy A).
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Mark's name to Christus Ladies Serving Christ at the church are appreciated.
