Lyn Renee Bloesch

February 19, 1957 — January 8, 2021

On Friday, January 8th, Lyn passed away peacefully at Divine Savior in Portage, WI. Lyn had recently been diagnosed with stage III colon cancer and her Felty’s syndrome was worse than it had been in the past. On January 5th, Lyn had been admitted to Divine Savior with hospice services. She enjoyed the car ride from the UW Hospital to Divine Savior with her son, Gavin. He made sure to take the “scenic route” so they could spend extra time together before her admission. Lyn was born on February 19, 1957 to beloved parents Albert and Marlene Bloesch. Lyn gave birth, with Craig Radi by her side, to her son, Gavin Bloesch-Radi. Although Craig and Lyn did not marry, Craig remained a constant support for Lyn throughout her life. She was a lover of nature, being outdoors (especially during thunderstorms), and wolves. She enjoyed coloring pictures for family and completing puzzles. Prior to COVID restrictions, she loved spending time with her son, daughter-in-law, and grandson. She was a very social person who treasured spending time with other residents and staff members of the two assisted living facilities she spent time in over the past six years. She spent a couple years living at The Meadows of Fall River (Fall River, WI) and the remaining years at Willow Pointe (Verona, WI). She was preceded in death by her parents and brother: Jon Bloesch (aka Toby). She was survived by siblings: Nan Williams (Pat), Lon Bloesch (Mary), and Andre Bloesch (Julie), her son: Gavin Bloesch-Radi (Heather Ceaser), and her superman grandson: Zander Bloesch-Radi. Due to restrictions related to COVID-19, a celebration of life will be postponed until it is safer to do so. Lyn requested her ashes to be spread at Berry Lake, which Gavin, Heather, and Zander plan to do in early summer
