Lucille A. Miller

Lucille A. Miller, age 97, passed away peacefully on Monday July 7, 2025 in Sun Prairie WI.

Lucille worked for the Madison Metropolitan School District for many years where she served hot lunches to students and teachers. She was the longest standing member of Dale Heights Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed playing Euchre and going for fish on Friday nights, she loved spending time with her family and friends. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren were all very special to her and she loved spending time with them.

She spent many years traveling with her husband and enjoyed seeing many parts of the United States, they spent many winters in Florida near their two sons and grandchildren.

Her legacy will continue through her five surviving children, Steven, Richard, Thomas (Kathleen), Robert (Julie) and Debra Eveland, 11 Grandchildren, 19 Great grandchildren and one Great Great granddaughter, as well as many special cousins that referred to her as “Aunt Lucille” whom she loved deeply.

She was proceeded in death by her husband Raymond C. Miller they were married for 72 years, their son Gary, and many more family and friends.

We would like to thank the Prairie Gardens staff and Bristol Hospice for the care our mother received until the time she passed away.

A Memorial Service will be held on July 30th at 11:00 at Dale Heights Presbyterian Church 5501 University Ave., Madison Wisconsin. Family and friends may gather prior to the service at 10:00.
