Lorri Christine Palmer, 69, of BYRON, passed away on January 13, 2024, at UW University Hospital in Madison, WI. She was born on December 29, 1954, in Rockford, IL, the daughter of Lyle and Elizabeth Bain. Lorri graduated Stillman Valley High School in 1972. She married Alan Palmer on August 31, 1974, at United Church of Byron, IL. She worked for many years as a manager at Cacciatore’s in Byron, IL, and then worked a clerical position with Mutual Management Services. Her and Al liked to take short drives and visit the casino. She retired after the death of her husband and spent time crocheting, crafting, shopping, and watching True Crime TV. She cherished every moment she could spend with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughter, Jonna (Eric) Muzzarelli of Byron; sons, Jason (fiancé, Alisha) Palmer of Sterling and Justin (Meghan) Palmer of Davis Junction; grandchildren, Michael and Lauren Muzzarelli and Sophia, Gideon, Josiah and Lucas Palmer; sister, Kim (Brian) Bauer of Oregon; and brother, Kerry Bain of Byron. Predeceased by her parents; husband; brother, Craig Bain; and sister-in-law, Sally Bain. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
No services are planned at this time. Private graveside services will be in the Spring so she can be laid to rest next to her husband, the love of her life.
