Lisa Henning

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Lisa Henning, (Hinsman) age 63 of Middleton, Wisconsin. Lisa peacefully passed on January 16th, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Lisa was Born on May 23rd, 1961, to Keith and Betty Hinsman. Her love for her parents was like no other, their family pictures say it all.

Lisa’s smile was sure to brighten a room and her laugh was contagious, known for unwavering love to her loved ones. Lisa’s sweet loving spirit is carried on through her husband, Mike, her brother, Jeff and along with her nieces and nephews that she so dearly loved. Preceding her in peace were her brother, Christopher HInsman, parents, Keith HInsman, and Betty Hinsman.

Lisa, lovingly known as Aunt Lisa, cherished her nieces and nephews, Tanya (Eric) Hernandez of Killeen, TX, Jennifer (Gary) Duerkop of Black Earth, WI, Sandra (Michael)Bernard of Madison, WI and nephew Edward Hinsman of Madison, WI. Her nieces and nephews adored their Aunt Lisa and will forever miss her warmth and love for them.

Lisa loved and had many fond memories of the Hinsman family cottage in Door County, (Ephraim). She especially enjoyed listening and watching her dad play bag pipes down the hill in front of the Cottage along with family dog Winston. (English Bulldog the 2nd) Lisa loved family more than life itself.

Lisa’s love will forever live in our hearts and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

To honor Lisa’s memory, a celebration of life will be held at Capital Brewery 7734 Terrace Ave. Middleton, WI 53562 on Friday, March 7th, 2025, from 4pm-8pm location of venue is the Grain Room.
