Lee J. Holtgrieve passed away peacefully at his home in Watertown after a wonderful Christmas celebration. He was surrounded by family and his wife of almost 30 years.

Lee graduated from Waukesha High School (South Campus) in 1966. After high school he enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps and served two tours in Vietnam from 1966-1972.

Lee is preceded in death by his parents Robert E. and Genevieve (Jane) Holtgrieve.

He is survived by his wife, Kathy (Rouse); children, Lee J Holtgrieve II and Marsha (Duane) Clemons; stepchildren, Thomas L. II (Melanie) Richards and Kerri Lynn (Shawn) Yenor; Grandchildren, Christina (Paul) Choate, Samantha (Phillip) Ludwig, Joseph A. Ericson, Marisa Ladwig, and Vanessa Yenor; Great Grandchildren, Harper, Audrey, Dean, Jameson, Colton, and Malakai. He is also survived by his brothers, Thomas J (Barb) and David (Paulette); and two furbabies, Sassy and Jax.

Lee was known for his love of Family, God, Country, and the Marine Corps. Lee was a Harley Davidson enthusiast and enjoyed riding for more than 50 years. Other favorite past times included bowling, hunting, fishing, watching the Green Bay Packers, and travelling in their RV.

A Celebration of Life and presentation by the Honor Guard is scheduled for February 11, 2023, from 11:00-3:30 at the Watertown Senior Center, 514 S. 1st St. Watertown, WI, 53094.
