Ken Krueger, 78, of Newport Beach CA, lately of Oregon WI, died March 2, of dementia complications. He was the first-born of Howard and Olga (Laskowy) Krueger of Little Suamico, WI.
Ken grew up on the family dairy farm, attending the one-room Cottonwood School, then Oconto Falls High, where he was a multi-sport letterman, and the University of Wisconsin, graduating in 1965. In Madison he was a brother and treasurer of the Alpha Delta Phi fraternity. Ken served his country in the Coast Guard. Ken was a career stockbroker/financial consultant in southern California; a founder of Flint, Krueger, Beimfor, and Cluck, the predecessor to Canterbury Capital. He enjoyed working out, running and biking, as well as gardening.
Ken is survived by 2 children - Paige, of Chicago, IL and Conrad, of Corona del Mar, CA as well as his 3 siblings Laurie, of Salem, OR, Roger (Molly) of Plymouth, MN and Carol (Kevin) Endres, of Evansville, WI, numerous nieces, nephews, and lifetime friends. His brain has been donated to UW Hospital for Alzheimer's research.
Ken was an incredible and loving devoted father, brother and friend. He will surely be missed by all who knew and loved him. Your support and kind words at this time is greatly appreciated. Ken believed that God helped him die on his own terms and in peace.
