Kathi Spiess of Baraboo died on Monday April 13th, 2026 in Baraboo. She was born February 15,1957, the daughter of Melvin Spiess Sr and Aura Rae Spiess. She grew up in Mokena,IL. Kathi faced many health challenges in her life. She beat leukemia as a child and continued to have health issues throughout her life. In spite of this she always maintained a happy and positive outlook on life. Her faith and love for God helped keep her upbeat.

First and foremost Kathi loved her kids and grandkids above anything else and made many happy memories with them. She loved to collect anything relating to turtles. Kathi liked old classic cars, car races; especially when her twin brother was racing and going to rodeos. Kathi also loved to shop!

Kathi is survived by her children; Paul Mougey, Erica (Luke) Kelber, Loni Rossing and Brennan Rossing.

Grandchildren; Deric(Lacy) Rossing, Sean(Tara)Deglow, Christian Banks, Drew Banks, Alizae Rossing and Fidel Neria JR. And 6 great grandchildren.

Siblings; Her twin brother Ray(Sue)Spiess, Aura Lynn Panozzo, Debbie Mossell, Melvin Spiess Jr and Louann Spiess Simpson.

And her very special friends from her time living in Las Vegas.

Her family would like to thank the hospice care team and the nurses at The Meadows.

A special thank you to her granddaughter Ali for her years of dedication to her grandmother Kathi.

A celebration of life will be planned at a later date. In lieu of flowers Kathi would like a donation made to a Leukemia Foundation
