Kara Jeane Ingraham, age 11, of Baraboo and Sun Prairie, passed away at home on May 5th, 2023, after a courageous 9-month battle with renal Ewing sarcoma.
Kara was born September 27th, 2011, to Jackie Karls and Dan Ingraham. She was a 5th grader at Al Behrman Elementary and was so excited to go to middle school as a 6th grader this fall. She was a sassy, amazing kid who did things her own way. She loved playing Roblox with her sister and friends. She liked to draw (especially ducks) and play with slime. She loved all of her pets, especially her guinea pig, Waffles.
Kara is survived by her parents, Jackie Karls (Ben Otteson) and Dan Ingraham (Marlena Jones); sister, Kaylee; step-siblings, Colin and Alaina; grandparents, Ray and Sheila Karls and Mike and Mary Ingraham; Aunts, Jessica (Gary) Karls-Ruplinger and Adrienne (Tim) Berg; cousins: Ethan, Tristan, Madelyn, and Charlotte; step-grandparents; and step-aunts.
Kara is preceded in death by her uncle, Dave Ingraham; great-grand parents, Ivan and Bette Adams and Alfred and Mary Ann Karls.
A celebration of life will be held at the Feld Visitor Center at Circus World Museum, 550 Water St., Baraboo, WI, on Saturday, May 13th, 2023, from 1-4pm. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the American Family Children’s Hospital Hematology/Oncology Unit.
