Judy Kaye Abendroth

Abendroth, Judy K. Judy K. Abendroth, 72 of Beaver Dam, WI, passed away July 22, 2022, after a short battle with Brain Cancer at UW Hospital in Madison. She was born to the late Herbert and Hazel Fabert on January 14, 1950, in Monticello, Iowa. Judy loved to learn and in 1986 she earned her high school diploma, in 1998 she started college, in 2005 she received her Bachelor of Arts, and in 2008 her Masters of Business Administration, both from Lakeland College. In 2020, she received her diploma in Accounting from Stafford Career Institute. Judy worked as a bookkeeper for Aurora Oil in Appleton for many years. She taught k-12 at a Lutheran school in Westfield. The past 4 years she tutored college students online, all over the US and Canada, and taught a CPA class. Judy enjoyed traveling the last 4 years with her companion and cousin, Vickie (John), going to Texas and Florida for the winters. They also traveled to North Carolina, Michigan and Mexico. She is survived by her Daughters; Sheila Newman (Beaver Dam) and Nancy Grimes (Madison); Brother, Cal (Terry) Fabert (Elkhorn); Son-in-law, Brian Newman (Beaver Dam); Grandchildren, Samantha and Cody Newman (Beaver Dam), Katelyn and Madison Grimes (Madison); Great-grandchildren, Jessica, Octavia, and another one on the way; Aunt Mary and Tuddy of Iowa; Special friends, Carol (Jeff) Franklin (Endeavor), Teresa Bromberek (Beaver Dam), John and Dosha Taylor (Oakdale); her four legged friend, Tessie; and many others who she has met along the way in her travels. She is proceeded in death by her grand parents, parents, a brother, aunts, uncles and husband. A celebration of life will be held on August 20th at Tahoe Park in Beaver Dam from 2-6pm. Pastor Meyer will be officiating a prayer for Judy.
