John Paul Gazeley, age 53, passed away unexpectedly in his home in Baraboo on Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2018. He was born in Wisconsin Rapids on May 11, 1965, to Richard and Hedy Gazeley. John graduated in 1983 from Lincoln High School in Wisconsin Rapids.
John found fulfillment in many aspects of his life. He will be remembered as a talented musician, song writer, and performer. John valued his relationships with friends, coworkers and neighbors, and was also enthusiastic about his daily work, but he was most passionate about spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. John always encouraged those around him to live their lives without hesitation or regret.
John is survived by his daughters and their spouses, Alicia Gazeley and Kyle West, Briana Gazeley and Edgar Lara; his siblings, Carol (Gazeley) DeBoer and Alan Gazeley, his grandchildren, Camron, Noble, Juliette, Arabella, and Divina; and his niece and nephew, Amanda Jo and Daniel DeBoer. He was preceded in death by his nephew, Richard Gazeley, and his parents.
A memorial service will be held at COMMUNITY of CHRIST CHURCH, 5110 Kevins Way, Madison, at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 8. Eulogy and readings will begin at 11:30 a.m. Memorials and flowers may be sent to 5110 Kevins Way, Madison, Attn: Alicia Gazeley.
