Jeffrey Davis

Jeffrey (Jeff) Davis, age 66, of Madison, Wisconsin, passed away on June 12, 2026, after continued heart issues. He was born on June 17, 1959, in Madison. He graduated from Madison West High School and excelled at cross-country running, helping lead the West Regents to state in 1976. He attended classes at MATC and UW-Madison. Jeff worked at Capitol Lakes as a cook for more than 43 years. He played on several Madison softball and dart leagues, enjoyed golfing, watched almost any kind of sport, and inherited his love of all things Wisconsin Badgers and Green Bay Packers from his mom and dad. While Jeff was a Wisconsin native through and through, he enjoyed escaping winters by traveling to Florida in January with family and great family friends.

Jeff is survived by his daughter, Layna (Josh), and grandson, Javier, of Boston, MA, and his brother Jim (Scott) of Madison. He was preceded in death by his wife Linda, father Robert, and mother Myrna.

In lieu of flowers or cards, the family asks for a small donation to the American Heart Association in Jeff's name. A celebration of Jeff’s life will be announced later and this website will be updated as soon as it’s finalized.
