Janet E. Wardour

Obituary For Janet Elaine Wardour Janet Elaine Wardour of Madison, Wisconsin passed away peacefully at Agrace Hospice Care in Fitchburg, Wisconsin on June 18, 2022 at the age of 76. She was born in Dunellen, New Jersey to George and Estelle Terra Nova. Janet married her former husband, John Wardour, in 1967 and had four children. After living in several states the family finally settled in Verona, Wisconsin in 1977. She was a stay at home Mom and after pushing off higher education to raise her family, she obtained her bachelor’s degree in Marketing at Upper Iowa University. She demonstrated her love for her family and friends in many ways, but she will always be distinctly remembered for the food that she prepared for others. It gave her great joy to prepare home-cooked meals from scratch, whether it was for a birthday, a holiday meal (Thanksgiving pies, in particular), a catering event or just a family meal. She was also very thoughtful and frequently expressed her love for others in the form of cards and gifts. She is survived by her children Jeremy Wardour (Paula), Jason Wardour (Tracy), Jessica Wardour (Troy) and Justin Wardour (Mallarie); her grandchildren Elliott, Emma, Caitlin, Sophia, Grant and Halston; her siblings Donna Terra Nova and Lois Martinez (Anthony). She is preceded in death by her father Arsenio Giorgio Luigi (George) Terra Nova, her mother Estelle Sophie Terra Nova (Kleczkowski), her brother George James Terra Nova and sister Estelle Ann Terra Nova, all of whom she loved and missed dearly. The family is planning a Celebration of Life to be held later this Summer.
