Sauk City

Jacqueline Jean McIntosh (née Bodfish), aged 82, of Sauk City,  Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on March 30, 2024, at Agrace Hospice in Fitchburg. Born on March 19, 1942, in  South Haven Michigan, she was the  only daughter of the late Welton and Donna (Overhiser) Bodfish and enjoyed recalling and sharing childhood memories of growing up on the farm with four brothers! At 19, she married Russell Davis in Michigan, a union lasting many years, and then married Philip McIntosh in Wisconsin. She was a proud and compassionate CNA with Attic Angels for many years, often saying her residents gave her more than she gave them, retiring with a cancer diagnosis in 2010. She never lost her sense of humor or spiritual strength and never complained facing her illness and adversity.

Jacqueline, affectionately known as Jackie, was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother. She leaves behind her two daughters, Roxanne and Kathy Davis; her adored grandchildren, Cassie Grant, Clint Wills, Cerissa Wills, and Larissa Tiedt; her cherished great-grandchildren, Honna, Steven, Colton, Kian, James, Adreyanna, Makayla, and Oksana; her great-great-grandson, Chozen; and many nieces and nephews mostly in Michigan.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, Dwayne, Charles, Ronald, and Edwin Bodfish; her beloved son, Steven Davis; and her dear husband, Philip McIntosh; and companion Roger Hammons.

At Jackie's request there will be no services. There will be a Celebration of Life service at a later date.

Jackie will be laid to rest beside her late husband at Highland Memorial Gardens in Cottage Grove Wisconsin.

The family wishes to extend their heartfelt thanks to the staff at Agrace Hospice for their compassionate care in Jackie's final days.

Jackie's memory will be forever held within the hearts of her family and friends.
