Georgia Jean White

Cambria/ Poynette: It is with a heavy heart the family of Georgia Jean (Graham) White announce her passing on August 29th, 2025 at the age of 69, at a Madison Hospital.

Georgia was born to William and Geneva Graham on September 7th, 1955 at Beaver Dam Lutheran Hospital.

Georgia attended Fall River School through the 8th grade. She graduated from Cambria-Friesland High School with the class of 1973. She married Donald L. White Jr. at the Rio Congregational Church on December 8th, 1973 by Pastor Keith Epps.

She served the Cambria community by being an E.M.T for the Cambria Ambulance Service. She was also a park board member that helped fund raise for the current pool. Her love to help others turned into a career when she became a C.N.A. Georgia furthered her education by going to nursing school becoming a L.P.N. She worked at the Continental Manor in Randolph and Markesan Resident Home in Markesan. Georgia then went to school to be a Ventilator nurse. Working as a Private Duty Nurse and going into people’s houses allowed her to work with nurses and families that became lifelong friends.

Georgia enjoyed playing cards and cribbage with family and friends, especially her weekly library group.

Georgia is survived by her husband of 51 years, Donald L. White Jr. of Poynette, her daughter, Amanda (Michael) Green of Cambria, daughter-in-law Leah White of Poynette, one brother, her aunt Bonnie Griesen of Poynette, sister-in-law Patricia Church of Poynette, her grandchildren: Jonathan, Steven (Kendall), Ashley, Nathan, Ethan, Donovan and Kyler. Great Grandchildren Lilly, McKenzie, Salem and Bailey. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, several other relatives and friends.

She was proceeded in death by her Parents William and Geneva Graham, in-laws Donald Sr. and Shirley White, Son Donald (Donnie) White in 2017. Brother in-law Rodrick Church.

A Celebration of life will be on October 11th, 2025 from Noon until 3:00 P.m. at the Cambria Community Room, located at 115 W Edgewater St. Cambria
