Gary Frederick German

Gary Frederick German, 76, of Sun Prairie, Wisconsin passed away on October 25th, 2021 at St. Mary's Hospital. Gary was born to Lorraine and Frederick German on May 30th, 1945 in Richland Center, Wisconsin. Gary helped run the family farm until he graduated from Ithaca Highschool in 1963. Gary worked over 25 years at Trachte Building Systems of Sun Prairie, Wisconsin and retired in 2018. Gary and Mary traveled to many different states over the years. They especially enjoyed Minnesota for the annual State Fair. He had a lot of interests and had many impressive collections to show for it. Gary went to many car shows and enjoyed classic cars, especially Oldsmobiles. He had a lot of knowledge and was extremely handy with cars, carpentry, or generally anything you needed help with. Gary could fix, build, or put together anything. Gary is survived by his wife Mary of 38 years. Brother Donn(Julie) German of Richland Center, Wisconsin. Sons Kevin (Eoywn), Tracy (Kim), and Scott. Daughters Janine, Denise, Dannette (Paul), and Stacie. Gary was also the proud grandpa of 12 grandchildren Mason, Taylor, Corbin, Chance, Justine, Kevin Jr., Austin, Dylan, Amber, Kayla, Brooke, and Olivia and 1 great-grandchild. Gary was a patient and attentive grandpa who was always there when you needed him. He made lots of memories and enjoyed many activities with Mary and the grandchildren over the years. Gary was sure to capture them for us to enjoy today. At Gary’s request no services will be held.
