Elaine Collier Trice

Elaine Collier Trice, age 80, of Colby, went to be with the Lord August 30, 2024 at UW Health in Madison WI. A celebration of life will be held at the Harrington Fire House on September 28, 2024 at 11:00am.

Elaine was born November 8,1943 in Easton, MD, the daughter of Stanley and Alice (Butler) Collier Sr. She graduated from Easton High School in 1962. On February 28, 1964, she was united in marriage to Samuel H Trice.

She loved helping on the farm with her family. After retiring she continued her love of farming with her son and husband in Colby, WI. Elaine worked in the printing industry for many years starting with Waverly Press and then retiring from Economy Printing in 2010. Elaine's greatest joy was being surrounded by her family playing cards, watching her grandchildren, working by her husband's side on building projects, or simply spending time talking with her brother and sister.

Elaine is survived by her husband Samuel H Trice of Colby WI, a sister Ellen Strange of Virginia Beach, VA, and a brother Stanley (Faye) Collier Jr. of Harrington DE.

 Elaine is also survived by her two much loved children Kimberly (Michael) Savage of Ocala, Fl and her favorite child Jeffrey (Hollie) Trice of Colby, WI. She is also survived by her eight grandchildren Brandy Savage Horsman, Michael L Savage Jr, Duncan (Kristen) Savage Sr, Devin (Cynthia) Savage, Kayla R Fisher, Jeffrey (Alicia) Savage, Kaitlyn (Tim) T Stanton, Savannah A Trice and eight great grandchildren.

She is also survived by many loved nieces, nephews, and cousins.

 Elaine was preceded in death by her parents, Stan and Alice Collier, brother-in-law, Joseph Strange, and step mother, Vivian Collier.
