Doreen Marie Arndt, age 51, passed away on May 25, 2025, in Madison, Wisconsin peacefully after a hard fought battle. Born on November 24, 1973, in Beloit, Wisconsin, Doreen brought warmth and joy to those around her throughout her life.

She is survived by her parents, Paul and Judy Allen; her sisters, Nicole Mueller, Kelly (Carl) Mattke, and Angela Soto (Armando); her niece and nephews, Joey Liebeck, Sydney Soto, Teagan Mueller, Camden Mattke, and Levi Mattke; Second Mom/Cherished friend, Sharon Ricard; best friends Regina and Amanda; as well as other close friends she held dear over the years. Doreen dedicated her career to caring for others. She worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), caregiver, and phlebotomist—roles that reflected her deep compassion and commitment to helping people.

Faith played a central role in Doreen’s life. A devoted Christian, she found spiritual community and strength at the Village Church of Gurnee. Her beliefs were a guiding light and source of comfort throughout her journey.

A true coffee lover, she found joy in the simple pleasure of sharing a warm cup with friends or family. Crafting was another passion of hers; through it, she expressed creativity and care in every handmade piece. Among her greatest joys was being an Auntie. She cherished every moment spent with her niece and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date to honor Doreen’s life. The date and time will be shared with family and friends.

Doreen's legacy lives on in the hearts of those who knew her—for her kindness, laughter, faith, and the love she so freely gave. May her memory bring comfort to all who mourn her passing.
