Diane Rae Crutchfield Kammer

Diane passed away peacefully at her home on March 14. She was born on June 21, 1954, in LaPorte, IN, where she was raised, and moved to the Madison, WI, area as a young woman.

She is survived by her brother, Chris Crutchfield (Tammy); her cousin and friend, Renee Overmyer Armes (Bryan K.); former husband, James Kammer (Pam); cousins: Linda (Overmyer) Yung (Leo), Sandra Overmyer Weaver (Erin Ehrman), Robert Overmyer Jr. (Kim), Jamie Lynn Overmyer Rowe, & Jennifer Overmyer; along with numerous nieces/nephews & great nieces/nephews, and her dear canine companion, Bella. She was preceded in death by her mother, Rae Ann Overmyer; her grandparents, Ethel Irene (Hood) Large Kessler & Lester T. Overmyer; and her beloved partner, Dr. Joseph Campana.

Diane was very charitable and an advocate for human rights. She was the proprietor of Trillium Hair Design – Verona, WI, where clients became good friends and enjoyed her wit, wisdom, and warm personality. Her last wish to those who touched her life was, “Be happy and safe and realize life is a gift and every day a blessing. Thank you to everyone who has helped me through my journey.”

A Celebration of Life will be held this spring. Memorials may be made to the American Society of Transplantation, Huntington Disease Society of America, or the charity of your choice.
