Deborah (Chuman) Russell, 55, passed away unexpectedly on March 8th at her home in Lodi, WI. She was born in Los Angeles, California on August 7, 1963 and grew up in Chicago, Trenary, and Gladstone, MI.
Debbie will be remembered, by those who loved her, as someone who cared deeply for others and had a great sense of humor. She worked most of her career in Green Bay, WI as a bus driver, until she went back to school and became a registered nurse. She worked in that profession for a few years, until declining health led to an early retirement. When her health allowed, she enjoyed pursuing many creative projects and spending time with her family.
She leaves behind her close companion Fred Stehling, mother Mary Stock, four children Shanna (Michael) Hammond, Craig Meshigaud, Mary Saldana, Riley Saldana and three grandchildren Penelope Hammond, Mario Meshigaud, Felix Meshigaud. She is also survived by her sister Elizabeth Black and brother Jerome Chuman.
She was preceded in death by her father Jerome Chuman, step-father Pete Stock, and granddaughter Sarah Hammond.
In keeping with Debbie’s wishes and her laid-back, free-spirit there will be no services.
