David Lloyd Wheeler found Peace and Healing in his death on Monday, March 13, 2023, at the age of 73 years.
He was born January 11, 1950, to Rollin and Eleanor (Niebuhr) Wheeler, in Madison. He graduated from Madison Central University High School in 1968. He was a U. S. Marine. He was a Warehouse Supervisor at Graybar Electric Company for 17 years and worked in the Food Services Industry for 15 years.
Dave’s recreational joy in life was “FISHING”, whether in the summer or ice fishing on the lakes and rivers in Wisconsin, and on Lake Michigan. He also enjoyed many card games with family and friends.
He is survived by his sister, Janet (Gary) Herold; his brother, James (Sharon) Wheeler, of Colorado; his nephew and niece, Jeff (Cindy) Herold; and Sara (his god-daughter) (James) Dennis, of South Carolina; his niece and nephew, Erin (Shawn) Turner of Colorado, and Gregg (Stacy) Wheeler of Illinois; and eight great-nieces and nephews.
He is further survived by his former wife and friend, Dianne Hesse Wheeler.
He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, and a nephew, Brian Ronald Herold.
