Daniel G Olsen

Dan Olsen Daniel Gerard Olsen passed away on Saturday, January 15th at the University Hospital in Madison surrounded by loved ones. He was born on September 30, 1953. He is survived by his mother, Pauline Olsen (Clemens), Godmother Delores Ness, three sons Paul (Kimberly) of Lodi, Chad (Jenna) of Lodi and Matt (Natalie) of Dane and eleven grandchildren Maddie, Rylee, Codie, Mack, Brad, Weston, Wade, Leightyn, Lawson, Londyn and Lane. Dan graduated from Lodi High School in 1971. He was active in the Lodi Wrestling Team, enjoyed farming and loved the outdoors. He enjoyed softball, hunting and spending time with his grandchildren and family. Dan's work passion was excavating which he did for many years. He is further survived by his brothers Jim (Jean), twin Don (Elizabeth), Tom (Jean) and sisters Ann, Kathy (Bill), Sue (Jay) and many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. Dan was preceded in death by his father Arnold, his brothers Paul and John, and a special friend Denise. A celebration of life and service will be held at a later date. Dan's family would like to send a special thank you to the UW Hospital staff for the care they gave Dan.
