Born December 2, 1933 in Horicon, WI to Benjamin and Angeline (Card) Rohde, he died on March 8, 2026. He was a US Army veteran and attended Milton College in Milton, WI. For 30 plus years their Northern Wisconsin lake cottage was a frequent destination.
Surviving Dale are his brothers Charles and James, sons David (Kyoko), Peter (Nancy), daughter Sarah (William) Schwantes, grandchildren Rebecca (Brett) McNalley, Daniel (Wendy) Rohde, Andrew Rohde, Christopher Rohde, Michelle Rohde and Ross Schwantes, great grandchildren Elaina, Nolan, Harrison Rohde and Declan, Delaney, Brady McNalley, plus nieces and nephews.
