Dale Kenneth Moschea

November 14, 1946 — April 26, 2022

Dale K. Moschea passed away peacefully at home after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer on April 26, 2022, at age 75. Born on November 14, 1946 to Dolores and Kenneth Moschea in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Dale was the third of five brothers. Dale met the love of his life, Pat, as a teenager. A few years later, they were married on April 26, 1969, and were married for 53 years. Dale was a proud graduate of UW-Milwaukee and worked for over 25 years at the Milwaukee Journal as the Transportation Director. He and Pat relocated to Two Rivers when Dale became the Executive Director of United Way for Manitowoc County. After a few years, Dale and Pat moved to Sun Prairie to be closer to their children. Dale continued to stay busy working at various jobs and most recently worked part-time at the Alliant Energy Center. Dale loved to garden, cook, read, listen to music, and tell stories. He always had a kind word or a joke to share. He was an expert grocery shopper, lover of dogs, and enjoyed crossword puzzles and games. He loved his family fiercely, and was always there for them. Dale was a great son, brother, husband, dad, grandpa, uncle, cousin, nephew, neighbor, and friend. Dale is survived by his devoted wife, Pat; three children: Keith (Tammy) Moschea, Aimee (David) Spahos, and Amanda (Dennis) Reichhold; five grandchildren: Logan, Connor, Liam, Fiona, and Kieran. Dale is also survived by his brothers David (Donna) Moschea and Scott (Mary) Moschea; sisters-in-law, Liz Moschea, Georgene (Jeff) Kmiecik, and Mary Beilfuss, cousin Margaret (George) Urban and many beloved nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Dolores Moschea, and two brothers, Gary and Bryan. A service to celebrate the life of Dale will be held at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church at 550 Lincoln Drive in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin at 11am on Friday, May 6th, 2022. There will be a luncheon at church to follow. A visitation at the church will begin at 10am.
