Clarice L. Schwenn

Schwenn, Clarice L. DANE – Clarice L. Schwenn, age 98, passed away peacefully on July 22, 2021 at her home. She was born March 14, 1923 the daughter of Tollef and Anna (Paulson) Rortvedt. She married Roland (Bunny) Schwenn on January 3, 1953. He preceded her in death in 1985. Clarice was a waitress at Club Sunset and The Bridge in Lodi for many years and served lunch at the Dane Graded School for 27 years. She was a great cook and baker, loved her word search puzzles and was a big Packer, Badger and Brewer fan. She also loved playing cards with her friends at the Corner Bar. She was a lifelong member of the Dane United Church of Christ and also a member of the Dane American Legion Auxiliary. She is survived by her amazing caregiver Jessi Dermo, and her children, Larry, Carol Mae (Harley “Bugsy”) Marks, Ronald (Heidi), Lois (Gerard Adler), Mel Haack and Sue Haack; 6 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. A “Celebration of Life” (visitation and luncheon) will be held on Sunday, August 15, 2021 from 1:00 – 5:00 at Rex’s Innkeeper in Waunakee. A private burial will be held at a later date. Clarice and her family wish to extend their sincere gratitude to My Choice WI and Agrace Hospice for their support and care. Rest in peace Mom. You deserve it!!
