Cindy Kay Gabourie

On Saturday, July 18, 2020, Cindy Gabourie, loving wife and mother of three children, moved on to eternal life after a courageous battle with a long illness. She was born March 4, 1959, in Janesville, Wisconsin, living much of her younger years in the Reedsburg, Wisconsin area. She attended Southwest Wisconsin Technical College, becoming a cosmetologist, a vocation that introduced her to long-lasting friendships with her co-workers and clients. She lived most of her life in the Madison, Wisconsin area. Cindy had a passion for fun and always brought joy to any occasion. She loved spending time with her family and friends, providing counsel and guidance along the way. A problem solver, she constantly devised ways to work out the details of remedies and prescriptions for all kinds of conundrum. She loved music, dance, and anything creative and transformed that energy to others through her caring and compassion. Please remember Cindy for her smile and laughter. Honor her by truly living life through your passions. Cindy’s spirit is carried on by her husband Paul and children Taylor (husband Thomas), Alexander and Jordan who were truly the center of her life. She is also survived by her mother Judy Connors and brother and sister Tom and Patti O’Connor as well as many friends and family too numerous to list but not forgotten.
