Charles Jay Ritchie, age 67, of Sauk City, WI, passed away on July 26, 2026. Jay was born on January 8, 1959. His parents were Charlie and Shirley (DeCot) Ritchie.
Jay operated his own trucking business, both over the road and dump trucking. He had a passion for motors, muscle cars, bikes and racing. He always had his Pitbull at his side. He had a tough exterior but a kind heart.
He is survived by a nephew Marc Lamberty of Sauk City, WI, niece Jennifer (Mike) Porsche of Yorba Linda, CA; 5 great-nieces, Sienna Jade Lamberty, Charlie Ruth Porsche, Soleil Louise Lamberty, Audrey Carol Porsche, Soriaya Rose Lamberty and his pitbull, Peanut.
The family suggests memorial donations in Jay’s honor be made to Marc Lamberty or Jen Porsche, to help assist with the ongoing care of Peanut, Jay’s cherished companion. A private memorial will be held at a later date.
