Charles James Hanson

Charles J. Hanson from Wonowoc, Wisconsin, made his way to heaven on Sunday, February 12, 2023, at the age of 70. He was born on January 22, 1953, in Waukesha, Wisconsin, the son of Charles and Laura (nee Smith) Hanson.

 

He was a member of Break Aways Motorcycle Club for many years. He had the biggest heart and he would do anything and everything for his family and friends. He truly was a Quality man. He loved to send messages and jokes to all his family and friends at all hours of the day or night. On November 30, 2022, he married the Love of his life, Diann Hanson. They knew each other for 47 years. 

 

Charlie will be greatly missed by his loving wife, Diann Hanson; daughter, Sheila; grandson, Alex; granddaughter, Lexi; stepson, Shawn (Karen) Gallagher; step granddaughters: Nikkilynn, Ashley, and Haley Joe (Kyle); and great grandchildren: Colten, Bentley, Gracelynn, Kinsley, and Kassidy. He is further survived by his brothers: David (Sally), Jerry, Mike (Cheryl), and Rick (Adriane); and sister, Renee (Steve) Weide. He leaves behind many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends, whom he loved each and every one of them. 

 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Laura and Charle; sister, Rose Sorcic; and Kathie Croce.

 

A Celebration of his Life will be held in the near future. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family would be greatly appreciated.
