Celebrating the Life of Brenda Rasmussen Brenda Joyce Rasmussen a beautiful soul, long-life Wisconsinite retired from American Family Insurance; she was a wife mother, sister, aunt, and an all-around superwoman to many. Brenda passed away at home due to natural causes on March 5th after winning the battle against Covid and pneumonia. Born July 21st, 1953 in Bloomington, IL. To Harvey and Darlene Theel. She graduated from Madison East High followed by some college and years of work in the insurance field. She married James Rasmussen in 1981 and they had 3 children. She survived by her husband (separated), sister and brother-in-law Patty and Don Ringstad, brother-in-law Mike Kavanaugh, children Andrea Rasmussen, Travis Rasmussen (spouse Jennifer Rasmussen), Tanya Zisky (spouse Jeremy Zisky), and grandchildren Jazzmin, Kyle, Jaxon, Conner, Zoey, Ava, Liam and great-granddaughter Ariya; multiple nieces and nephews that all loved her dearly. Proceeded by mother and father, Darlene and Harvey Theel, sister Chris Kavanaugh, sister-in-law Pat Kutz, and son-in-law Jeremy Wilson, Fran Gassen and brother in law Tom Gassen. Celebration of Life will be held at Rex's Inn Keeper 301 N. Century Ave Waunakee, WI 53597 Sunday, March 14th 2021 at 1:30 pm.
