Brenda Beatrice Helsell

MADISON-Brenda B. Helsell (Hahn), age 60, of Madison, passed away on Friday, February 11, 2022, at UW Hospital. She was born on March 29, 1961, in Madison, the daughter of Lavern Hahn and Trudy Hahn, and attended Madison East High School. Brenda enjoyed spending time with her family when she wasn’t working, and she worked a lot. Brenda was a nurse for over 20 years. She was a natural born caregiver taking care of everyone around her. She loved cooking for her family and friends and was very good at it. She loved shopping, camping, bonfires and just spending time with friends and family. Brenda is survived by her sons Nathan and Richard (Katie), and daughter Nicole (Jimmy ) Uphoff; grandsons Austin Helsell, James Uphoff JR and Colin Uphoff; and granddaughters Kaylee Uphoff and Finley Helsell. She is further survived by her brother Bryon Hahn. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Sherry and husband Richard Helsell. Brenda will be deeply missed.
