Ann Bailey, age 73, of Middleton and Land O’ Lakes, WI, passed away peacefully at home on April 16, 2024, surrounded by her family. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Jerry; her loving sons, Matthew, Jeffrey (Andrea) and Greg (Shannon) and grandchildren: Jackson, Evelyn, Martie, Mallory, and Charlie. She is also survived by her brother, Michael Braund and sisters, Linda Breunig and Rebecca Braund.
Ann cherished her role as a grandmother and found true joy in spending time with her grandchildren. She loved taking her grandchildren out for special days, showering them with individual attention and shopping for special outfits. All the grandkids love her dearly and will greatly miss her. Ann was also a special aunt to two ladies she loved very much: Ellery and Regan. She cherished the time she was able to spend with her family, creating memories that will be treasured forever.
One of Ann’s passions was rehabbing houses with her husband, Jerry. Together they did this 13 times with amazing results, their latest rehab receiving industry wide design recognition in part due to Ann’s impeccable taste and guidance.
Her family felt grateful for the opportunity to fulfill one of Ann’s last wishes, taking her grandchildren to the beach in Florida to put their feet in the warm sand and play in the water. She soaked up the sun on warm beautiful days watching her grandkids play on the beach and swim in the ocean.
Ann’s infectious smile and optimistic outlook on life touched everyone she met. She lived life seeing the glass as “half-full” and gave of herself fully to those she loved. Her kindness and warmth will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Agrace Hospice Care.
