Amy Lynn Christianson

Amy Lynn Christianson, 55, of LaValle, WI passed away unexpectedly on July 20th, 2026. Amy was born August 6th, 1970 to Oliver (Ollie) and Beverly (Copus) Christianson.

One of five children, Amy was the little sister to Roxanne and Dawn; and big sister to Shawne and Oliver Jr (Jay). Amy embraced the middle child role of loving her siblings fiercely, always assisting in creating a little chaos “The Christianson Way”; defending them and always showing up with unwavering loyalty. Amy adored her parents and remained close with them throughout her life. She often spoke of the love, kindness, and unwavering support they gave her, and she carries those same values into the way she loved her own family.

Amy was the devoted mother of her only child, Morgan. As a single mother, Amy took on the role of both mother and father, working hard to provide, protect, guide, and love Morgan through every season of life. She was Morgan’s biggest supporter, greatest advocate, and constant source of strength. Morgan was Amy’s whole world, and the two of them faced life’s hurdles together—with plenty of Brewers gear, laughter, and unforgettable memories along the way. Amy taught Morgan some of life’s greatest lessons: to be kind and gracious, to always treat others the way you would want to be treated, and to stand strong through whatever challenges came her way. She also taught Morgan to have great taste in music, especially Salt-N-Pepa and Mötley Crüe, and to always support The Brew Crew—even after their yearly All-Star slump.

In 2014, Morgan married Zack, and Amy was so excited to finally have a son. They had a special bond of laughter and jokes, “Cougs” and “Sonny” were always there for one another. In 2017, Amy welcomed her granddaughter, Vaida Lynn Brooke into the world. Amy was so elated and took her title as “Nana” with the most welcoming arms. In 2020, Amy’s heart grew full in welcoming her grandson, Tripp Oliver Thomas Brooke. Her world was complete, and her grandchildren were the absolute loves of her life. She loved to dance around the kitchen and sing “My Brown Eyed Girl” to Vaida, and she loved to snuggle up her “sweet boy Trippy” while he cracked jokes with his Nana. She was in the process of teaching her grandkids how to properly reign as Yahtzee Champ of the family.

Amy was there at every single game, concert, and event that her daughter, grandchildren, and nieces and nephews were in. She was always there to root them on and yell “I love you!” from the sidelines. Amy was the rambunctious, fun, rowdy Aunt to David (Aly), Ty (Fawn), Lauren, Sammy (Cody), Danny Earl (Aubrie Anna), Vanna (Austin), Justin (Kayla), Erica (Max), Dominic, and Brice (Katie). Amy shared a special bond with her goddaughter, Sammy, “Bad, Bad, Leroy Brown!!”

Amy was the partner of Kyle Bak. Elementary school sweethearts who reconnected later in life and spent the last 10 years together. They enjoyed exploring the beauty of the landscape of their woods, riding in the UTV, going out for breakfast, watching The Brewers, and spending time with their dogs, Stretch and Lucy, and cat, Arlo.

Amy was preceded in death by her father, Oliver (Ollie) Christianson; Granddaughter, Hadley Brooke; grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousin.

Amy is survived by her mother, Beverly Christianson; siblings Roxanne (Don) Stoller, Dawn (Doug) Pulsfus, Shawne Rodenschmit, and Oliver (Jay) Christianson Jr. She is also survived by her partner, Kyle Bak and family; daughter, Morgan (Zack) Brooke, grandchildren Vaida and Tripp Brooke. She is survived by many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, and cousins.

The family will host a celebration of life, held on Saturday, August 8th, 2026 at the Cornerstone Community Center, 505 N Main Street in DeForest, WI from 12-4pm. Please wear Brewer Gear in honor of Amy.

Amy’s love, laughter, unwavering loyalty, and generous heart will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her family finds comfort knowing that the love she gave so freely will continue to live on in those she cherished.
