Allen Charles Dix

Allen Charles Dix, age 79, passed away on May 7, 2026. Allen was born in Milwaukee to Marcile and Robert Dix. He is survived by his wife Jean, son Jason, and his brothers Ronald (Susan) and James (Susan) Dix.

In his youth, Allen spent summers with family and friends at Silver Lake, enjoying fishing and swimming. After graduating from Milwaukee Lutheran high school, he went on to the university in Madison, while also working on the railroad as a conductor. He also served as local union representative for many years.

A service will be held at McFarland Lutheran Church at 11:00 on June 22, 2026 followed by a reception and luncheon in the Family Life Center.

In lieu of flowers, contributions to Second Harvest Food Pantry are suggested.

Arrangements were through Cremation Society of Madison.
