Alan Louis Schulenberg

Alan Louis Schulenberg, 62, released all of his pain and illness on Friday, August 21, 2026, as he journeyed to heaven to be reunited with his dogs Cody, Thunder and Dakota.

Alan was born September 26,1963, in Madison, WI. He was raised in Cross Plains and graduated from Middleton High School in 1982. He then obtained an associate’s degree in accounting from Madison Area Technical College in 1984. In 2024 he retired from Veridian Homes (formerly Don Simon Homes) as a Tech Manager.

He loved collecting coins, searching for treasure with his metal detector and watching scary movies especially the Conjuring series. He met the biggest treasure of his life, Julia, on June 2,1989 and they were married May 25, 1991.

He is survived by his wife, Julia Schulenberg, sister, Michelle Schulenberg, in-laws, James and Barbara Griffith, sisters-in-law, Patricia Briggs and Carolyn Griffith (John Chaval), nephews, Justin (Katie) Briggs and Travis (Melissa Adamson) Briggs, great nephew Finnegan, great niece Adeline, along with many friends and his labs, Teo and Storm.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Beverly and Louis Schulenberg and a brother, Larry Schulenberg.
